St. Louis +7 The greatest show on turf keeps it close in the Georgia Dome.

StL/Atl Under 48 Despite public perception of StL great offense and horrible defense, these 2 teams have only hit 48 in their respective game totals 12 times this year (out of 33 games). I see a 21-17 type game with some turnovers.

6 point Tease NYJ +14.5 and OVER 28.5 Jets have hung in there against everyone all season, biggest loss of the year was @ NE 23-7. I think they can keep it within 2 TDs. Total is low enough to tease down.

(I know some of you won't play teasers, but this is basically an action play.)

6 point Tease Philly -2.5 and UNDER 54 I like Philly to win at home (presumably by 3 or more), but by 8.5 without TO?? Philly D should hold Minny to around 20 or less, probably won't score 30 without TO. These 2 teams have only hit 54 in their respective game totals 9 times (out of 33 games).

Indy/NE UNDER 52 Indy has only hit 52 point total ONCE on the road this season. NE has only hit 52 point total TWICE at home this season. Belichick & company will have a defensive answer for Payton & Company.

GAME OF THE WEEK
NE -2 Indy has deservedly received a lot of attention down the stretch, and they are playing great ball right now. The cold hard truth is that NE has not lost in Foxboro for over a YEAR. If they win, they most likely cover the -2. I won't believe the Colts can beat them in Foxboro w/ 3 weeks to prepare until I see it.

GL to everyone. :suomi:

Looks like some solid plays. Need to do some more research on that Indy game.
Keep up the good work. Rock on.

Docgone, thanks for posting in my thread again so I can see your sweet avatar.

Grogan, which 2 plays do you like? Just curious. I do have a good feel for these totals, but I have been wrong before. When Indy/NE went up to 52, the under looked even better.

GL my friends.

Actually, I should probably rephrase that.....your thoughts on the totals sound about right to me, and I wouldn't argue with most of the teaser plays. The only difference I'd see is that I'm just not sure if the Jets will be able to hang with Pittsburgh. They played what, 9.5 quarters on the road the past 2 weeks, and now pennington had some bug this week, I just envision a serious 2nd half fade against a rested Steeler team.

But let's hope the Jets lose by 14 and it's all good, right? GL!

Yeah, Steelers are looking more and more invincible by the day now that flu bug has hit Jets. The thing that impresses me about the Jets is that all of their losses were within 1 score except for @ Pitt (17-6) and vs. NE (23-7). It seems like they could keep it within 3 scores vs. Pitt if teased up to +14.5, but maybe the wiser play would be to tease Pitt down to 2.5, as I don't see them losing at home. GL Grogan.
